Court Ruling Bodes Well For UnitedHealth Settlement

Law360, New York (August 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Though a district judge will have some flexibility in his review of a settlement agreement reached between UnitedHealth Co. and its former CEO William McGuire over options backdating, he is required to take into consideration the findings of UnitedHealth's special committee, according to a Minnesota Supreme Court ruling.
