Debevoise Lures SEC Director To Private Sector

Law360, New York (May 18, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s associate director of enforcement is moving on to the private sector. Paul R. Berger, a 14-year veteran of the Commission, will join Debevoise & Plimpton LLP’s Washington, D.C. office as a partner this June.

“Paul brings a real depth of experience and expertise that will be great complement to our existing practice,” said Mary Jo White, chair of Debevoise & Plimpton’s Litigation Department.
