Judge Tosses Suit Severed From Medtronic MDL

Law360, New York (August 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge, who last week approved part of a $95.6 million handout to thousands of plaintiffs in a multidistrict litigation against Medtronic Inc. over faulty defibrillators, has tossed the claims of a Mississippi man whose suit was severed from that MDL last year.
