Lawyers Plan Move To Nixon Despite Billing Concerns

Law360, New York (August 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Concern over the higher billable hours expected of American lawyers wasn't enough to stop 12 non-equity partners from leaving Taylor Wessing LLP's French branch for Nixon Peabody LLP, the European firm said in a motion filed Monday in an effort to enforce what it says are its contractual rights in the wake of failed merger talks.
