Judge OKs Sale Of Syntax-Brillian Assets To Olevia

Law360, New York (August 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The bankruptcy judge overseeing Syntax-Brillian Corp.'s Chapter 11 proceedings has signed off on the sale of some of the troubled TV maker's assets to a company owned by TCV Group, a manufacturer of plastic molded parts for Syntax-Brillian's Olevia-brand televisions.

In an order signed Aug. 22 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, Judge Brendan L.
