Brazil Threatens to Import Indian Copy of Roche Anti-HIV Drug

Law360 (December 28, 2003, 12:00 AM EST) -- Brazil may import an Indian generic version of the Nelfinavir anti-HIV drug produced Switzerland’s Roche Holding AG, in what would be its first step toward breaking the patent on the Swiss company’s product, a top Brazilian health official told the Reuters news agency.
