Milwaukee's Kinnickinnic River Gets $22M Cleanup

Law360 (August 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Federal and state funds will be pooled to finance a $22 million project to remove contaminated sediment from the Kinnickinnic River that runs through Milwaukee, officials announced Monday.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the state of Wisconsin will contribute $7.7 million to the project from a state bond fund signed into law last year.
