La. Oil Refinery To Overhaul Pollution Controls

Law360, New York (August 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Transworld Oil USA Inc.'s subsidiary Calcasieu Refining Co. has agreed to pay $612,500 and reduce nitrous oxide emissions at its petroleum processing plant to settle alleged violations of the Clean Air Act and the Louisiana Environmental Quality Act.

The proposed consent decree was lodged Tuesday in the Federal Register.
