Entergy Sues Miss. AG Over Doc Request

Law360, New York (August 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Entergy Mississippi Inc. has filed a lawsuit accusing Mississippi's attorney general of going on a “fishing expedition” to uncover internal company information as state regulators continue their investigation into the utility's fuel adjustment charges.

In a complaint filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi, Entergy said Attorney General Jim Hood's civil investigative demands for pricing information constituted a violation of the company's Fourth Amendment rights protecting against unlawful search and seizure.
