WTO Head Sets Target For Trade Deal

Law360, New York (May 31, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- World Trade Organization Chief Pascal Lamy warned trade ministers Tuesday that they need to wrap up a deal meant to reduce farm subsidies and tariffs on farm and industrial goods, setting a deadline for the end of June.

Forty trade ministers are expected to participate in negotiations at the end of June over the focal point of the Doha global trade round.
