Plaintiffs Ask For Class Cert. In Goodyear FLSA Suit

Law360 (September 2, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. employees suing the company for overtime pay moved on Friday to speed up the discovery and class identification process for their class certification claims.

Robert M. Boggy alleged in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida that Goodyear has not paid overtime for sales associates who received an hourly wage and commission since July 2005, a violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Boggy filed the complaint at the end of July.
