Octane Says Law360 Ranking Supports Case For $2.8M Fee

Law360, New York (July 16, 2015, 3:27 PM EDT) -- Octane Fitness LLC told a Minnesota federal court Wednesday that it is entitled to $2.8 million in attorneys' fees and expenses from Icon Health & Fitness Inc. following Octane's victory in the U.S. Supreme Court that made it easier for courts to award fees for meritless patent cases. The company cited a Law360 article, which ranked the high court ruling as the 5th most important decision in the past 15 years, in support of its bid.
