Japan FTC To Examine BHP-Rio Tinto Deal

Law360, New York (September 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Japan's Fair Trade Commission plans to start an official review of global mining giant BHP Billiton Ltd.'s bid to take over Rio Tinto Group, a top competition official reportedly revealed Wednesday.
