EU Parliament Backs Safety Rules For Hydrogen Cars

Law360, New York (September 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The European Parliament has voted in favor of a uniform set of rules for the approval of hydrogen-powered cars, which the European Commission says will help bring more environmentally friendly cars to European streets.

The Parliament voted for the proposal after reaching a compromise with the EU's member states, the commission said Wednesday.
