Willful Misclassification Claims Kicked From KFC Suit

Law360, New York (September 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The federal district judge overseeing multidistrict litigation against Kentucky Fried Chicken Corp. has dismissed claims that the fast food giant willfully misclassified hundreds of assistant managers.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge David S. Doty granted KFC's motion for partial summary judgment, shooting down allegations that the company intentionally denied the managers their proper wages.
