WideBand Loses Bid To Toss Trade Secrets Claims

Law360, New York (September 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A district judge has refused to grant partial summary judgment to several defendants, including WideBand Solutions Inc., in a trade secrets suit filed by ClearOne Communications Inc. against its former employees.

Judge Tena Campbell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah tossed the motion for partial summary judgment on Wednesday, writing that factual disputes remain as to a misappropriation claim in the trade secrets suit over audio-conferencing technology.
