Pacific Pipeline Sued Over 2005 Calif. Oil Spill

Law360, New York (September 9, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. government has sued Pacific Pipeline Systems LLC over a 2005 oil spill from its pipeline that discharged 3,400 barrels of crude oil into Pyramid Lake, a recreation site and drinking water reservoir in the mountains north of Los Angeles.
