Law360, New York (September 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A U.S. senator has warned that a country-of-origin labeling law intended to inform consumers about the origin of their meat is being weakened by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to allow meat producers to opt for a label that lists multiple countries of origin.
