Eckert Seamans to Staff Up IP Practice After Alcoa Win

Law360 (January 2, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Mid-Atlantic law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott expects to expand its Pittsburgh intellectual property practice group after winning aluminum giant Alcoa’s IP business last year, the chair of the firm’s IP department said.

“We are actively seeking to fill both legal and paralegal positions. We are looking for candidates with good academic records from law school and a matching technical undergraduate background, especially in metallurgical, chemical, mechanical and electrical sciences,” said Arnold B. Silverman.
