IP Firm, ABA Settle Trademark Dispute

Law360, New York (September 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The American Bar Association has agreed not to use the logo for its international law section without also including an ABA designation in a settlement with Collen IP Intellectual Property Law PC over trademark infringement.

Judge Ellen S. Huvelle of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia issued a 45-day order Thursday dismissing the suit without prejudice after receiving notice of the settlement.
