Law360, New York (September 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit has weighed in on a long-standing labor dispute between Ameritech Corp. and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 21, choosing to uphold the third arbitration award favoring the telecommunications giant.

On Wednesday, the Third Circuit sided with Ameritech in the employment battle, maintaining that an earlier agreement between the two parties regarding enforcement of the final arbitration award must be honored.
