Sierra Club Sues Over Ohio Pollution Loophole

Law360, New York (September 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Sierra Club has sued the director of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency for violating the Clean Air Act by allegedly failing to enforce federally mandated air pollution regulations in the state.

The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio by the Sierra Club and three Ohio citizens, targets a regulation passed by the Ohio EPA in December 2006.
