EPA Bans Sale Of Several Miracle-Gro Products

Law360, New York (September 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has put “stop sale” orders on several Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. products, including pesticides and weed killers, over problems with labeling, the company said in a regulatory filing Wednesday.

The ban on sales of the products is part of an ongoing investigation by the EPA into false, misleading or insufficient labels on Miracle-Gro products, which led to the recall of several other products earlier this year.
