Halliburton Sued Over Oil, Gas Well-Related Patents

Law360, New York (September 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Canadian energy services company has accused Halliburton Energy Services Inc. of infringing two of its patents by making and selling a tubing string assembly for wellbore fluid treatment.

Calgary, Alberta-based Packers Plus Services Inc. sued Houston-based Halliburton in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Friday, seeking a permanent injunction as well as treble damages and attorneys' fees.
