Boxer Lambasts Bush Over EPA Record

Law360, New York (September 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., has attacked the Bush Administration's environmental record, observing that the nation's courts have repeatedly overruled the policies of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works held a hearing Wednesday to examine the administration's record at the Department of the Interior and the EPA. At the hearing, Sen. Boxer described in prepared remarks the courts' “frustration with EPA's failure to comply with the law.”
