FDA Yanks Eyewash, Skin Cream Over Side Effects

Law360, New York (September 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has ordered companies including Baxter Healthcare International Inc. to stop selling an eyewash used in surgeries and a skin cream used to treat wounds and ulcers, citing reports of serious side effects caused by the two unrelated products, which do not have government approval.
