Dovex Fruit To Pay $98K For Clean Air Act Violations

Law360, New York (September 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Dovex Fruit Company has agreed to pay $98,241 to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to settle allegations that the fruit grower and packager violated the Clean Air Act by failing to submit a risk management program for hazardous materials kept on-site.

The EPA announced the settlement on Tuesday, noting that Dovex has already corrected the violation by submitting an adequate risk management plan to the agency.
