Ruling Against Johnson & Johnson Unit Affirmed

Law360 (June 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In the latest development in a long-running battle over the multi-billion dollar market for drug-coated coronary stents, a federal judge in Delaware has affirmed a jury’s decision that a stent made by Cordis Corp. infringes on a patent held by Boston Scientific Corp.

Cordis—a subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson—will appeal U.S. District Judge Sue Robinson’s ruling.
