Warranty Claims Shaved From 1st Seroquel Trials

Law360 (September 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Warranty-related claims were dismissed on Wednesday from 29 lawsuits in the massive multidistrict case against AstraZeneca LP involving the blockbuster drug Seroquel after the parties reached an agreement.

Florida state law claims alleging breach of express warranty, breach of the implied warranty of merchantability and breach of the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose were dismissed in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
