PI Patents Withstand Fairchild Challenge

Law360, New York (September 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Almost two years after a jury awarded Power Integrations Inc. $34 million in an infringement action against Fairchild Semiconductor International Inc., a federal court Wednesday ruled that the four patents-in-suit are enforceable, clearing the way for consideration of enhanced damages and a permanent injunction.
