Bingham McCutchen Lures Away Rival's IP Head

Law360 (June 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a major coup, Bingham McCutchen has snagged the former head of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman’s intellectual property litigation group to serve as a partner in its Silicon Valley office.

Bingham announced the hiring of William Abrams on Wednesday, singing the praises of the seasoned IP litigator.

"Bill is a true veteran in IP litigation who brings a skill set and trial background to Bingham McCutchen that is an ideal fit for our client base," said Christopher B. Hockett, firmwide chair of Bingham McCutchen's litigation area....
