'Tommy' Watch Maker May Face Penalties: 9th Circ.

Law360, New York (September 26, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A company that imports a product bearing a counterfeit mark can face federal penalties under the Tariff Act even if the owner of the mark does not make that particular product, a federal appeals court has ruled in a case involving counterfeit Tommy Hilfiger watches.
