Dewey Jury Eyes Conspiracy As Deliberations Progress

Law360, New York (September 30, 2015, 7:14 PM EDT) -- The jury in the trial of the former heads of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP on Wednesday asked a New York judge to explain the elements of the conspiracy charge against the defendants, as deliberations stretched into the ninth full day.

The panel weighing the case against former Dewey Chairman Steven Davis, Executive Director Stephen DiCarmine and Chief Financial Officer Joel Sanders asked New York Supreme Court Judge Robert Stolz to read the elements of the conspiracy charge "extremely slowly so that we can take accurate notes."
