Green Groups Sue Over Grand Canyon Uranium Mining

Law360, New York (September 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Sierra Club and other environmental groups have launched a suit against the U.S. Secretary of the Interior for authorizing uranium exploration near Grand Canyon National Park despite a congressional resolution prohibiting such activities across one million acres of public land surrounding the park.
