Enviro Groups Challenge $114M Oil, Gas Leases

Law360, New York (September 30, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Within hours of the federal government issuing $113.9 million in oil and natural gas leases for the Roan Plateau — a 73,602-acre expanse of public land in central Colorado — environmental groups asked a federal court to prevent the leases from going into effect.
