Agilent Sues PixArt Over Optical Mouse Patent

Law360, New York (January 7, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Agilent Technologies Inc. has sued PixArt Imaging for patent infringement in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

The suit alleges that PixArt infringes upon Agilent's patent for optical mouse sensor technology.

Agilent is seeking to stop PixArt from selling optical mouse sensors to companies manufacturing optical mice that are imported, distributed or sold in the United States. Agilent is also seeking damages from PixArt for its unauthorized use of Agilent's optical mouse sensor technology.
