GCs Aren't Ready To Break Up With BigLaw

Law360, New York (October 14, 2015, 12:10 AM EDT) -- Corporate law departments continue to pull work in-house and bargain hard on law firm fees, according to an industry expert at HBR Consulting and a recent survey, but they're not ready to pull the plug on BigLaw just yet.

From higher billable rates last year paid to firm lawyers and more matters going to primary outside counsels, HBR Consulting senior director Lauren Chung said this year's law department survey was reason for modest optimism among law firms.
