Supreme Court Tosses LabCorp Appeal

Law360 (June 22, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Patent holders breathed a sigh of relief Thursday as the U.S. Supreme Court dismissed without reaching a decision the appeal of Laboratory Corp. in America v. Metabolite Laboratories, a case that raises the issue of subject-matter patentability.
