StarTech Infringed Peripheral Switch Technology: VPI

Law360, New York (October 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Computer and network device manufacturer Video Products Inc. has sued StarTech.com USA for allegedly infringing a patent related to a keyboard, video and mouse peripheral switch.

The lawsuit, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, accuses StarTech of selling infringing products even though it “has notice of and is aware of” VPI's patent.

Aurora, Ohio-based VPI makes and sells a variety of computer and network devices and related products, including peripheral switches.
