U.K. Court Rejects Extradition Challenge

Law360 (June 22, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a decision that could have far-reaching implications for antitrust cases, Britain’s House of Lords has dismissed a petition from the retired chief executive of Morgan Crucible Co. to review a law aimed at hastening the extradition of defendants to the U.S.

The country’s highest court of appeals rejected the motion of Ian Norris, a British citizen currently wanted in the U.S. for alleged antitrust violations.
