ITT Scores Win In Honeywell Fuel Filter Patent Case

Law360 (June 23, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a blow to Honeywell International Inc., the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has upheld a lower court’s ruling that ITT Industries Inc. did not infringe on the technology company’s fuel filter patent.

The Federal Circuit said Thursday that the district court correctly construed the claim limitation for the fuel system component and affirmed the district court’s grant of summary judgment of noninfringement of the patent.
