FERC Reapproves Gas Terminal Expansion Project

Law360, New York (October 7, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Responding to an appeals court decision issued earlier this year, the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission today reauthorized the expansion of a liquefied natural gas terminal in Cove Point, Md.

As a condition of approval, FERC capped gas flows to the local distribution company system, Washington Gas Light Co., at currently authorized levels, addressing concerns raised by the lawsuit.
