Uniform Maker Settles Puerto Rico Labor Dispute

Law360, New York (October 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Propper International Inc., the largest supplier of uniforms for the United States military, has settled allegations with the National Labor Relations Board that the company was violating union-organizing laws in its Puerto Rico factories.

As part of the agreement, Propper will have to post notices in Spanish and English that inform workers of their rights to organize. The notices will have to be posted in prominent gathering spots throughout six factories in the western half of Puerto Rico, the agreement said.
