Inventor Sues Soil Remediation Co. Over Patents

Law360, New York (October 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An inventor of soil and groundwater remediation technologies has taken on environmental consulting firm Groundwater & Environmental Services Inc. in an infringement suit over more than a dozen patents relating to cleanup systems for environmental contaminants.

Inventor William B. Kerfoot Ph.D. sued GES on Tuesday through his patent-holding company ThinkVillage-Kerfoot LLC in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, alleging direct and induced infringement of 14 patents.
