Global Carbon Market To Top $100B Barrier In 2008

Law360 (October 10, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The world’s carbon markets will exceed the $100 billion mark by the end of this year, growth that will reach $550 billion by 2012 and result in a $3 trillion-per-year turnover by 2020 if the United States introduces a European Union-style federal cap-and-trade system, British research company New Carbon Finance said Friday.
