Product Liability Suits Rising In Importance: Survey

Law360, New York (October 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Product liability lawsuits were one of the top 10 most common types of actions faced by U.S. companies this year despite an overall slowing in case filings, according to a survey to be released on Tuesday.

As part of its fifth annual Litigation Trends survey, Fulbright & Jaworski LLP polled corporate law departments in the U.S. and U.K. on the state of global litigation, drawing input from 358 in-house counsel on both sides of the Atlantic, including 251 U.S. respondents.
