Judge Orders Olevia To Finish Syntax-Brillian Deal

Law360, New York (October 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal bankruptcy judge on Friday ordered Olevia International Group LLC to complete its purchase of assets held by bankrupt high-definition TV and digital camera maker Syntax-Brillian Corp.

Judge Brendan Shannon of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware denied an emergency motion filed by Olevia in September, less than a month after its bid to take on Syntax-Brillian's assets was approved, to stop the sale.
