Circuit City Heading For Ch. 11 In '09: Analyst

Law360, New York (October 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Electronics retailer Circuit City will likely end up in Chapter 11 bankruptcy next year because of a tough economy and other financial pressures, an analyst said in a research report for the company's investors on Monday.

In a phone interview Tuesday, Brad Thomas, a research analyst with KeyBanc Capital Markets, told Law360 the company will “still be able to make it through the holiday season” but “as you get into 2009, the writing on the wall will become a lot clearer.”
