CORRECTED: Group Sues To Stop Grazing In Idaho Wildlife Area

Law360, New York (October 15, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Western Watersheds Project filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the U.S. Bureau of Land Management alleging the agency violated federal regulations when it permitted livestock grazing in a sensitive area in Idaho.

The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Idaho, claims that the Bureau of Land Management was aware of problems from overgrazing in the Battle Creek area when it approved the use of the land by ranchers.
