Pa. High Court Affirms Law Banning 'Wrongful Birth' Suits

Law360, Philadelphia (November 18, 2015, 4:44 PM EST) -- The Pennsylvania Supreme Court affirmed the legitimacy of a law prohibiting lawsuits for "wrongful birth" on Wednesday, reversing a lower court decision that the law, which bars claims that a child with health complications would not have been born without an individual's actions or omissions, violated the state constitution.
